The User Database for FLARM and Electronic Conspicuity
FLARMnet is a database for FLARM and other electronic conspicuity systems, powered by the community. It works like a public phone book: It stores the radio address (phone number) of an electronic conspicuity device and the associated aircraft and pilot data. Users can look up this data given a radio address. The FLARMnet database can be downloaded and installed on supported products, delivering this information right into your cockpit.
By contributing to FLARMnet, you can influence how your aircraft is being visualized on other devices and displays. Richer data can lead to an increased safety, as peers can call you up on the radio by your name or aircraft registration. It is also much more fun! FLARMnet data can also used in search-and-rescue cases to identify the radio address of a missing aircraft, which speeds up the search.

How does it Work?
-
1
Add your device
This requires entering your device's unique radio address. You can choose which personal information you would like to add: Your name, the aircraft's tail number, and the callsign. Additional settings for increased privacy are also available.
-
2
Download the database
The downloads page has file formats for many popular systems and displays. Pick the one that fits your equipment.
-
3
Install on your display
Install the file obtained in the previous step on your display. This usually involves putting the file on an SD card and inserting it into the display.
